Middle game of the three-game set here from the banks of the Delaware as the Thunder and Reading renew their rivalry. Trenton gets back in the win column with a nail-biting 3-2 victory over the R-Phils to even the series at one game apiece. Jeremy Bleich (pictured) got the start for Trenton and he pitched well as he improved to 3-5 with five solid innings of one-run baseball. The left-hander also gave up just five hits with three walks and five strikeouts. Here are some of the highlights…
BOTTOM 1st – Chris Malec gives Trenton an early 2-0 lead with his 7th home run over the season of the right field wall towards the Delaware River.

TOP 3rd – The Domonic Brown show continues. The top prospect in the Phils organization tallied his second hit of the night, an RBI single to left which plated Quintin Berry and trimmed Trenton’s lead to 2-1.

BOTTOM 8th – Trenton with a much needed insurance run as an Austin Krum tallies a sac fly to plate Justin Snyder which extends the Thunder lead to 3-1.

TOP 9th – Things get a little dicey as Thunder releiver Jose Valdez gives up a home run to Steve Susdorf on the first pitch of the inning to trim Trenton’s lead to 3-2.
